Shipping Manager

Experience:

Responsibilities:
1. Serves Account Executives, Customer Service Representatives, customers, and local outside carriers, ensuring complete shipment documentation and on-time deliveries of customers’ orders.
2. Create all outgoing paperwork for all domestic and international shipments.
3. Maintain inventory control (physical and electronic) of all finished goods customers.
4. Pull daily Clarios orders from shelf inventory.
5. Pull daily and/or weekly Spectrum shipments from shelf inventory.
6. Produce all labels for shipments, such as UPC barcodes, roll tags, carton labels, and shipping labels.
7. Shrink-wrap rolled and sheeted labels, inspecting the labels and core tags for
non-conformances on an as needed basis.
8. Box items for shipping or shelf inventory.
9. Back-up to manifest machine procedures.
10. Records returns and delivers to inspection department.
11. Generates shipping report daily and updates LabelTraxx to include this information.
12. Orders pre-printed shipping forms.
13. Maintains a supportive presence and performs as a positive team player dedicated to customer satisfaction.
Press Set-Up

Job Description

- Flexographic printing experience a plus
Responsibilities:
1. Inspects all plates, before mounting, for defects, notifying your Shift lead and completing
a Plate Remake Form if a defect is discovered. Cuts and trims plates as necessary.
2. Stage presses with supplies including but not limited to rags, printclean, water, acetate,
doctor blades, ink pans, ink hoses, sponges, drain dams, and cores.
3. Stage presses with inks and varnishes per the job tickets. Ink to be pulled from
inventory or mixed if there is none in inventory. The proper coating (varnish) is to be
pulled per the job ticket.
4. Stages jobs at press with prepared plates and dies, including sheeters, perfs, buttcutters,
as specified on job ticket, in sequence according to the production board. (THIS MUST
BE DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER SO THERE IS NO DOWN TIME).
5. Unmounts and cleans plates after use, returning plates to the proper plate envelope with
foam between them once they are clean and dry; cleans print cylinders and returns them
to inventory; returns dies, etc., to inventory in their proper place.
6. Prepares dies for repair and retool shipments, and receives all new and retooled dies
and plate cylinders, maintaining appropriate paperwork and updating log book.
7. Maintains die and print cylinder inventories, ensuring proper record keeping and
organization. Prepares dies that need to be sent out for retooling.
8. Maintains plate mounting equipment and organization of plate mounting area.
9. Maintains an adequate supply of forms used at press, i.e. Press Operator Start-Up
Checklists, Plate Remake Forms, various maintenance forms, etc.
10. Cleans and maintains anilox rolls, as needed using Flexo-Wash.
11. Assists in plate making, as required.

6. Tag finished product for traceability.
7. Complete required paperwork upon job completion.
8. Communicate with opposite shift on any job or press related concerns.
9. Press clean up and maintenance.
Press Set-Up Team Member
We are hiring a Press Set-Up Team Member – looking for someone that is a Team Player and wants to be part of a dynamic growing company! High School diploma, organizational skills, ability to read a ruler, use a calculator and lift up to 50 pounds. Print Experience a plus, but not required.
- Hourly Wage $16 to $19 an hour
- Monday – Thursday, 2 pm to Midnight
- 4 hour shifts

Responsibilities:
- Performs duties, such as: Entering orders, order confirmations, creating job tickets; ordering artwork, plates and securing customer proof approvals; preparing plate envelopes.
- Conveys daily shipment requirements to scheduling and production, ensuring jobs are shipped on-time.
- Maintains accurate records on all jobs and customer contacts.
- Updates job ticket information per changes made by production personnel.
- Inspects all plates for damage, issues plate remakes, maintains plate file.
- Assists other Customer Service Representatives when needed and fills in when employees are absent.
- Maintains a supportive presence and performs as a positive team player.
- Hours are 8-4:30pm but the CSR must be flexible and willing to stay later to handle critical issues if necessary. This is exception based only on critical situations.
