Application of Battery Labels
Regardless of their area of implementation, most batteries contain basic safety information such as the load size they can carry based on wattage, the presence of corrosive substances inside the battery, and the intended use for the battery, whether it is designed for general application or use with a specific product or operating system.

1. Used Battery Labels

The FAA has issued multiple warnings and videos that demonstrate how lithium batteries can “self-ignite” and lead to airplane crashes. Furthermore, when lithium-ion batteries combust, they can release toxic substances associated with the development of brain and liver cancer.

4. Battery Charging Station Labels

However, recharging batteries using a re-charger whose connector cables attach to batteries to recharge them presents a potential danger: If the battery charger is not powered off before the cables are removed, it could deliver a shock to the worker.
